Bathrooms, kitchens, garages or even electrical substations – it is possible to prefabricate a large number of what are known as 3D modules, equip them with installations while still in production and assemble them finally on the construction site. Prefabrication further shortens assembly time on the construction site. Bathroom units can be prefabricated up to 90%. This significantly reduces costs. Sanitary installations, electrical systems, the heating system and the bathroom fittings can be installed during manufacture. Together with standardisation and optimised material handling, this contributes to reducing production time and increasing productivity. On completion of production the 3D elements are loaded on to trucks and delivered just-in-time to the construction site, where a crane places them in their final position.
